COP21 Side Event ‘Climate crisis and guardianship of Earth: Andean ancient wisdom as legacy for future generations’ on December 9th
The COP21 Side Event Climate crisis and guardianship of Earth: Andean ancient wisdom as legacy for future generations will take place on Wednesday December 9th from 14 to 15.30 at the Peruvian Pavilion.
The event is organised by the Andean Parliament, Biosfera – Investigación de futuros, and Terre des Hommes. It will explore how ‘guardianship of the Earth’, a central concept of in the ancient wisdom of the South American Andes, provides a legacy that contributes to the global debate on intergenerational equity today. Anna Leidreiter from The World Future Council joins the panel to discuss Guardians for Future Generations, and the interlinkages between intergenerational justice and the 100% renewable energy campaign.
